My Role at PBC: My goal is to offer a message of hope in all things. As Pastor, my role is to help equip people to do whatever God has called them to do.

Personal Story: I grew up in central Nebraska and I prayed to receive Jesus Christ at the age of eighteen. In 1976 my wife and I moved to Canyon, Texas, where I continued my undergraduate studies in education. However, God had different plans for me and I surrendered to full-time ministry in October of 1981 at Calvary Baptist Church in Canyon. Several years later, I pastored a mission church. We moved to Memphis in 1990, where I began serving our Lord at Hollywood Baptist Church. The church relocated to the Bartlett area in 2000 and we changed our name to Providence Baptist Church of Bartlett. It has been a joy and privilege to serve Him through Providence, and this is where I will continue to faithfully serve Him, until He instructs me otherwise.

The best way to pray for me: Pray that God will fill me with the Holy Spirit • Pray that God will guide and anoint my preaching • Pray that the Lord will give me opportunities to lead many people to Christ • Pray that the Lord will bring about explosive numerical and spiritual growth at Providence Baptist Church
